Counseling Associates of the Four States is excited to announce that Wendy Ovalle, LMSW, will be joining their team starting December 22! Wendy will then transition full-time to their Carthage office, which will officially open on January 5.
Wendy is bilingual in Spanish and English and is a Licensed Social Worker with a strong background in health care and behavioral health. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State University an her master’s degree in social work from the University of Oklahoma.
Wendy has extensive experience supporting veterans, hospice patients, trauma survivors, individuals in crisis, and families navigating difficult life transitions. Her therapeutic approach includes strengths-based, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapy. She is passionate about serving individuals of all ages while honoring the importance of culture in the healing process.
