Bright Futures Joplin is excited to invite the community to join them for Bright Futures Joplin (BFJ) Days!
The First Wednesday of the month is BFJ Day, which id dedicated to spreading awareness about the ways Bright Futures supports local students and the ways the community can help. Joplin Schools staff have been participating for several years, and now the community is invited to build on that success.
Local businesses, clubs, and individuals are encouraged to participate by wearing their Bright Futures Joplin t-shirts on the first Wednesday of every month. To participate, you can order t-shirts here. They are $20 apiece and funds raised from BFJ Day go directly to providing clothing, school supplies, weekend food, transportation, and more for students living in poverty.
Joplin Schools serves approximately 445 students who qualify as homeless, and many more who are food insecure. Bright Futures Joplin exists to remove these barriers to their success and, as a 501(c)(3), relies on community support to do so.
