(Joplin, MO) – The Joplin Regional Alliance for Health (JRAH) is partnering with Codefi to host Missouri’s first Vibeathon event as part of its HealthTech AI Software Studio initiative. Vibe coders are invited to join the competition in Joplin on November 8 and 9 for a 36-hour coding contest that leverages AI resources to build, test, and refine new technical solutions rapidly.
Participants will be presented with complex health care industry challenges and can tackle one or all of the problem sets presented to them during the weekend’s opening session. They’ll have time to vibe code their solutions and pitch their solutions.
Winning solutions will receive cash prizes with more than $20,000 in prizes to be awarded. Participants can win multiple prizes if they build more than one winning solution (e.g., First prize is worth $5,000; $5,000 per problem x three problems = $15,000).
Registration is now open for Joplin’s Vibeathon. Adults 18+ are invited to participate and no prior programming experience is required. Registration is free, but space is limited, so early registration is recommended. To register, please click here.
