For 43 years.
How long have you been an Ambassador with the Joplin Chamber?
For 42 years.
Do you serve in any other capacities within the Chamber?
I am the Chair of the You Belong in Joplin work group.
What is your favorite Chamber event/program and why?
Business After Hours. It’s a relaxed event with great opportunities to network with other business owners.
What is your favorite memory from serving as a Chamber Ambassador?
Meeting owners of new businesses and being able to development friendships to help them become successful. It’s priceless to me!
What would your advice be to new members of the Chamber?
Network! It’s about relationships, which can be a great help to your success.
Is there anything else you’d like to add?
There are lots of a committees that the Chamber organizes that will help you meet people while shaping your own success. Join one of them as you might be able to help another business owner. Also, you don’t get anything out of your Chamber membership unless you put something into it!
