The Joplin Health Department and The Alliance of Southwest Missouri will offer free Car Seat Classes on Wednesday, March 12. This class will focus on everything from choosing the correct car seat for your child to installing the car seat properly in your car. Organizers say this class is valuable free training for anyone, from parents and grandparents to babysitters.
Two sessions will be offered: the first will be in English at 10 a.m., and the second will be taught in Spanish at 2:30 pm. Both will be held at the Joplin Public Library’s East Community Room, 1901 East 20th Street.
Door prizes and snacks will be provided for participants. Sponsors of the class include Safe Kids Worldwide and State Farm.
