Joplin Little Theatre (JLT) has information about this month’s activities as well as details about their production of Little Women and their auditions for The Odd Couple, Female Version.
JLT’s Presents Little Women
JLT is excited to announce their adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel, Little Women, directed by Marilyn Bouldin.
Performances will run from Wednesday, January 29 to Saturday, February 1 at 7:30 pm daily. There will also be a Sunday matinee on Sunday, February 2, at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $18.00 for adults and $15.00 for senior citizens and students. Purchase your tickets here or call the box office at 417.623.3638 during regular office hours.
This production is presented by a special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection.
Announcing Auditions for JLT’s Production of The Odd Couple, Female Version
JLT is excited to search for the stars of their next production, The Odd Couple, Female Version, directed by Shelly Dunn.
They are looking for a cast of eight, consisting of six women and two men. Those interested in auditioning will be asked to read lines from the script. Auditions will take place on Monday, February 3 and Tuesday, February 4 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.
This performance will run from Wednesday, March 25 to Saturday March 29, 2025, at 7:30 pm each night. A matinee performance will also be available on Sunday, March 20, 2025, at 2:30 pm.
This production is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.

JLT is proud to present their 2024–2025 season!
- Little Women | January 29 to February 2, 2025
- The Odd Couple, Female Version | March 26 to 30, 2025 (Auditions are February 3 and 4)
- Absurd Person Singular | May 14 to 18, 2025 (Auditions are March 31 and April 1)
Season tickets are on sale until July 17, 2024 and are $75 for adults and $65 for senior citizens and students. Individual tickets go on sale on July 18 and are $18 for adults and $15 for senior citizens and students. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through the box office during regular box office hours or online here.
Office Hours
JLT’s box office will be closed from Thursday, December 5 to Thursday, December 12. Regular office hours will resume on Monday, December 16.
