JATSO Policy Board Public Meeting Set for September 26

The Joplin Area Transportation Study Organization (JATSO) Policy Board will hold a public meeting at 1:30 pm on Thursday, September 26, in the Joplin City Hall 5th Floor Study, 602 South Main Street, Joplin, Missouri.

Items to be discussed include the FY 2025 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP), 2025 Transit Asset Management (TAM) Plan update, MoDOT Statewide Safety Targets, JATSO Public Participation Plan (PPP) update, and discussion of unfunded needs in the JATSO area. The UPWP lists the transportation studies and tasks that MPO staff and member agencies will perform to support the metropolitan transportation planning process and is updated annually. The TAM Plan lists the condition and replacement schedule for MAPS fixed assets. The MoDOT Statewide Safety Targets are a list of performance measure targets reported in MoDOT’s 2024 Highway Safety Plan. The Public Participation Plan outlines JATSO’s procedure for engaging the public in the transportation planning process.
