Join Joplin NALA Read from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Friday, September 13 for their fourth annual Literacy Liftoff!
Hosted on the soccer fields at Missouri Southern State University, this event features fun for the whole family and there’s no cover charge to attend. Lift off aboard a tethered hot air balloon (weather permitting) for a suggested donation of $5 and grab something to eat at one of your favorite food trucks as you check out what literacy organizations in your community have to offer. Between stops, play yard games with your family, enter raffles for chances to win fun prizes, and enjoy DJ entertainment.
