The Creative Learning Alliance (CLA) is excited to recognize their outstanding volunteers and their new 2024–25 Board Officers in the latest version of their e-newsletter! Read below for more details.
2024–2025 CLA Board Officers Installed
In February, the Creative Learning Alliance’s 2024 Board was installed:
- President – Audie Dennis
- Vice President – Bri Watts
- Treasurer – Shelly Kraft
- Secretary – Kitty Ward
CLA would also like to thank Board members Stephanie Bradshaw, Chad Greer, Lisa Nelson, and Logan Stanley for everything that they are doing to bring the science center to the Joplin region!
Special Recognition
CLA would like to recognize Ann Leach, Sarah Park, Rikki Smith, and Kitty Ward who dedicated many of their hours from December 2023 to March 2024 as adult mentors to the Youth Advisory Council. We are so grateful for their time and guidance!
Justice Perkins also gave generously of his time and donated resources for the materials to build the shell of the Youth Advisory Council’s time capsule. He also demonstrated to the Council members a little construction while finalizing the outer shell of the capsule with their personal contributions.
CLA would also like to thank volunteers from the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce, Freeman Health System, and Forest Park Baptist Church for working so hard on the new building!
