(Joplin, MO) – The Alliance of Southwest Missouri will host An Afternoon at the Races, a Kentucky Derby-themed event from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 4 at The Sterling Event Center in Joplin.
Event goers can look forward to live Kentucky Derby-viewing, a Churchill Crowns Hat Bar, simulated horse races, themed drinks, a silent auction, and other Derby activities to benefit The Alliance. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through Eventbrite. Tickets are $60 if purchased ahead of time or $75 at the door. Sponsorship packages are also available as The Alliance celebrates its 25th year of serving kids, the grown-ups in their lives, and the communities they live in.
