This two-part training series is designed to help you internationalize your small business. Leslie Fischer, an International Trade Field Specialist, will guide you through navigating e-commerce systems, integrating them into your website, and creating a strong international strategy with insights from the Missouri SBDC.

Starting a Small Business: The First Steps

This workshop focuses on essential concepts that a potential small business owner should consider before starting their small business. Participants will learn about the importance of discovering their target market and gain an appreciation of understanding their customers.

Those attending the workshop will also learn the steps in licensing and registering their business with federal, state, and local agencies. Finally, participants will understand the importance of cash flow projections and various funding alternatives.
