The Missouri SBDC at MSSU aligns its office hours with MSSU’s operations. Please note that the office will be closed from Friday, December 22 to Tuesday, January 2 in accordance with MSSU’s calendar.

Why Export to Ireland Recap

Our recent training session, “Why Export to Ireland,” was nothing short of a triumph! With insights shared by our dynamic presenters from Missouri Department of Economic Development, Brandon McDaniel and Olivia Ross, attendees delved into the vast potential of exporting to Ireland. In 2020, Missouri businesses exported over $185 million worth of goods and services to Ireland, making it the 13th largest export partner.

Starting a Small Business: The First Steps

Wednesday, December 13, 2023 | 9:00 to 10:15 am CST | Free, virtual event

This workshop focuses on essential concepts that a potential small business owner should consider before starting their small business. Participants will learn about the importance of discovering their target market and gain an appreciation of understanding their customers.

Those attending the workshop will also learn the steps in licensing and registering their business with federal, state, and local agencies. Finally, participants will understand the importance of cash flow projections and various funding alternatives.
