Mercy Joplin to Host ‘Track of Treat’ 2023 on October 28

Mercy Joplin is excited to invite the community to attend its second-ever “Track or Treat” event on Saturday, October 28 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Weather permitting, several hospital departments will set up booths and hand out candy in costume along the walking track that circles Mercy Hospital Joplin (100 Mercy Way in Joplin), offering families a safe, daytime trick-or-treating option!

In 2022, Mercy Joplin hosted their first-ever “Track or Treat” event, and organizers were pleasantly surprised by the turnout, so the decision was made to turn it into an annual event.

Participants are asked to refrain from wearing any costumes that might frighten children or that depict gore or violence. In the event of weather causing a cancellation, Mercy Joplin will make an announcement on its social media channels.
