Joplin Public Library Seeking Volunteers to Plant a Pollinator Garden on September 18

The Joplin Public Library (JPL) is looking for volunteers to help plant a new garden space! This soon-to-be open space will cater to butterflies, bees, birds, and other pollinators and will feature a variety of native plants.

Thanks to assistance from a local expert, the design is ready and the plants have been purchased. JPL just needs some help installing them! Sign up through their Google Forms signup to hep plant this new pollinator garden at the Library on Monday, September 18 at 9:00 am. Small garden tools (especially a trowel) would be helpful, but not necessary.

For more information about this project, please contact Jeana Gockley, Library Director, at 417.623.7953, ext. 1021 or jgockley@joplinpubliclibrary.org.
