With the school year starting soon, a whopping $31.2 billion is expected to be spent on school supplies this year alone. That works out to an average of $597 per child.
Rapha International is looking for 100 people to help them purchase school supplies. It costs just $27 to provide a child in Rapha’s prevention program with school supplies for an entire year.
Education is essential to trafficking prevention because it helps break the cycle of generational poverty, creates safety for vulnerable children today and in the future, and provides a safety net for children that can detect abuse. When communities come together to prevent and combat the sexual exploitation of children, real and sustainable change takes place.
