(Joplin, MO) – Due to the high winds over the weekend, some residents have experienced down limbs and branches. The City of Joplin’s Public Works will open a Free Tree Limb Drop Off Site starting June 20. It will be open from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm from Tuesday, June 20 to Friday, June 23.
The drop-off site is located at 1702 North Schifferdecker Avenue, just about a half-mile north of Belle Center Road on the west side of Schifferdecker.
Another option for residents is to bundle limbs and branches cut to four-foot maximum length and place them at the curbside for pick up on their regularly scheduled trash service day.
