(Joplin, MO) – Due to the extremely high winds, many residents have downed limbs and branches to dispose of. To help with this, the City of Joplin’s Public Works department will open the Free Tree Limb Drop-Off Site from Wednesday, April 5 to Saturday, April 8. The site will be open from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm each day. It will open again for its monthly operational dates of Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15.
The drop-off site is located at 1702 North Schifferdecker Avenue, just about a half-mile north of Belle Center Road on teh west side of Schifferdecker.
Another option for residents is to bundle limbs and branches cut to four-foot maximum length and place them at the curbside for pickup on their regularly scheduled trash service day.
