For April, expect the usual casual networking, as well as a pretzel bar for snacking, a cookie decorating station, information on upcoming classes and trivia nights, and samples of coffee from the Clay Cup, who will soon be opening a coffee kiosk inside of Coley’s. The cookie case will also be fully stocked for Friday night sweet treat purchases.
WineShare is a unique networking opportunity that takes place from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on the first Friday of each month. This event is held within rotating locations in downtown Joplin and is sponsored by a local business. It is free to attend and everyone over the age of 21 is welcome. Attendees bring a bottle of wine or a favorite craft beer to share and can spend the evening enjoying the company of other downtown enthusiasts. Light snacks will be served.
Lori Haun, Executive Director of Downtown Joplin Alliance says, “April’s WineShare will give folks a chance to check out the new expanded locations of a great cookie shop, get caught up on other exciting happenings on the 900 block, and, of course, spend a chill evening with friends old and new. If you are looking to meet people and explore the coolest spots in downtown, WineShare is a great place to start!”
