(Joplin, MO) – Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) is set to host a TEDx event from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 4 in the Bud Walton Blackbox Theatre.
A total of ten speakers will be selected to present their ideas following the theme of Connectedness, with the goal being conversation, connection, and community. Limited seating will be available.
“This event will give those both on and off campus a chance to share their ideas and research within the TEDx format,” said Ryan Orcutt, Director of Student Engagement and Global Leaders. “We’re excited to have the opportunity to host this event for both our campus and community, and look forward to all the ideas that will be shared.”
TEDxMSSU is now seeking applications for potential speakers. Everyone is welcome to apply. Applications close on February 17 and must include a written form and a video submission.
