Liberty Utilities Making Donation to Creative Learning Alliance for a New Exhibit

(Joplin, MO) – The Creative Learning Alliance will join Liberty Utilities at their creativity lab (905 Main, Joplin) on Monday, September 12 at 10:00 am for an exciting presentation. Liberty has committed $20,000 to the Creative Learning Alliance to purchase their first manufactured exhibit for their STEAM Center.

Project Coordinator Neely Myers said, “We currently have over 15 full-time exhibits that were built by our two very talented exhibit builders, Kara Arnce and Lori Good, and we are looking forward to adding to the lab with an Illumination Station. Flexhibit, from which we will purchase the exhibit, has a long history with specialty builds for children’s museums and science centers, and we look forward to working with them. We are grateful for this generous donation from Liberty without which this purchase would not have been possible.”

“We’re thrilled to help make this exhibit possible,” said Kevin Noblet, Liberty Central Region President. “These STEAM disciplines are crucial to the growth and success of our communities and certainly the utility industry. We’re excited to support the work of the Creative Learning Alliance to encourage children and others to develop interest in these vital fields.”
