(Springfield, MO) – Guaranty Bank is pleased to announce that Sara Gugel was recently promoted to vice president and BSA officer.
Gugel has more than 19 years of banking experience, joining Guaranty in 2004 as a teller. In 2006 she moved to the bank’s operations center where she held various positions including operations admin clerk, operations SAR specialist, deposit operations coordinator, electronic services officer, and assistant vice president BSA and security officer.
“With more than 15 years of operations and Bank Secrecy Act experience, plus nearly two decades of overall banking experience, Sara is a tremendous asset to Guaranty Bank,” said Guaranty Bank Senior Vice President Nick Spinelli. “She is vigilant in deterring fraudulent activity by promoting financial transparency and security for our clients and company.
Gugel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Evangel University and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University.
