(Joplin, MO) – The Joplin Area Transportation Study Organization (JATSO) is seeking a 14-day public comment period for the FY 2023 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP). The UPWP lists the transportation studies and tasks that MPO staff and member agencies will perform to support the metropolitan transportation planning process and is updated annually.
The proposed FY 2023 UPWP can be viewed on the JATSO website, which can be found here.
The public comment period for this amendment is open from Monday, August 15, 2022, to Monday, August 29, 2022. Comments may be submitted to Keegan Stanton by email at Kstanton@JoplinMO.org or by phone at 417.624.0820, ext. 1511.
This public notice, public involvement activities, and time established for public review and comments on the UPWP will satisfy the FTA Section 5307 Program of Projects requirements for Metro Area Public Transit System (MAPS).
