Phoenix Home Care and Hospice will be sponsoring Dessert Wars on Tuesday, May 3 from 4:00 to 6:30 pm at 3105 S. Pearl.
Local bakers will compete for prizes, including Best Decorated and Best Tasting. The public is welcome to enter the dessert tasting contest for $10 per person. Each participant will receive an ice cream from Hershey’s Ice Cream Truck. And there will be whole desserts on sale just in time for Mother’s Day!
There will be a live auction starting at 6:15 pm and winners of the Dessert Wars will be announced at 6:30 pm.
The proceeds from this event will go towards the GBC Medical Loan Closet.
