Missouri Shared Work Program — An Alternative to Laying Off Employees

The Shared Work Unemployment Compensation Program can be particularly beneficial in returning employees to work during an uncertain time as it allows employers with flexibility to scale up or scale down the workforce based on changing business needs.
In this workshop, participants will hear from Ethan Deimeke, Shared Work Senior PR Specialist for the Missouri Division of Employment Security. Requirements of this program, how it works for both the employer and the employees are topics that will be discussed followed by a Q&A session.

QuickBooks Desktop: Utilization, Tips, Tricks

Wellness for Business Part One: Exploring the Why’s and How’s of Wellness

Discover how the WorkWell Missouri Initiative encourages employers to create environmental changes and worksite policies that make it easy for employees to initiate and follow through the voluntary health behavior changes.
During this presentation, you will hear from Freeman Health System representatives on the following topics:
- Why your organization should establish a worksite wellness program.
- How worksite wellness programs benefit both the employee and the employer.
- The importance of having senior leadership support an active wellness committee to drive your program.
- Why it’s important to utilize evidence-based wellness resources at the local, state, and national levels.
- How to create a wellness plan starting with the CC Health ScoreCard.
