QuickBooks Desktop: Utilization, Tips, and Tricks

Starting a Small Business: The First Steps

In this workshop, participants will discover their target markets and gain a better appreciation of why businesses need to understand their customers. Participants will also learn about the process of registering their business with federal, state, and local agencies. Introduction to Government Contracting – Should I Even Consider This Market?

This online training is presented by Allen Waldo, Procurement Counselor with the Missouri Procurement Technical Assistance Center (MO PTAC). Allen is located in Springfield, Missouri and works with small businesses that are currently fulfilling government contracts, or small businesses that are interested in learning more about government contracting.

Information about selling to the government and getting the right registrations (such as SAM) and certifications will be discussed. Advantages and disadvantages of selling to the government will also be presented. There will be a time for questions at the end of the training session.
