Joplin Parks & Recreation Presents Daddy Daughter Date Night

Joplin, MO – Tickets are now on sale for the annual Daddy Daughter Date Night hosted by the Joplin Parks and Recreation Department. This year’s event will be held on Friday, February 18th and Saturday, February 19th at the Joplin History and Mineral Museum.

“This is one of our most popular programs of the year,” said Jessica Johnson, Recreation Coordinator. “This has become a tradition for many families in the area.”

This year’s luau-themed event includes dinner, dessert, dancing, digital photo download, the popular egg toss game, and prizes. The dance is targeted for those 3-12 years old, so the prizes and games are geared to that age range. Although the event is traditionally for fathers and daughters, another parent/adult chaperone is welcome to accompany the child.

This is a limited seating event and pre-registration is required. Friday will feature one session from 6:30-9:00 pm and Saturday will feature 2 sessions, one from 12:00-2:30 pm and another from 5:30-8:00 pm.  Tickets are $40 per couple, $20 for each additional daughter, and registration is available online at www.joplinparks.org, at the Joplin Parks and Recreation office at 3301 W. 1st Street, or by calling 417-625-4750. Tickets are valid for the session purchased.
