Auditions for Man of La Mancha

JLT will host auditions for Man of La Mancha on February 7 and 8, 2022 at 7:00 pm.

The cast requires 20 men and nine women of various ages. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and a prepared song of the participants’ choice, which demonstrates your vocal ability.

Man of La Mancha, based on Cervantes’ novel, Don Quixote, is a remarkable, poignant, moving musical. Set in the context of the Spanish Inquisition, the plot is presented as a play-within-a-play and focuses on a dying old man who refuses to relinquish his ideals. “The Impossible Dream” is included in the score.

Performance dates are March 23 – 27, 2022.
