“How Are You Connected?” City Asking Residents to Take Survey About Internet Use

As part of its Smarter Joplin Roadmap Initiative, the City of Joplin and its partners are working to learn more about our community’s technology usage and needs. To start this effort, we are conducting an Internet Gap Study within our city. The study will provide vital information to help determine the level of connectivity that exists throughout Joplin.

Below you will find the links to each respective survey as well as a speed test link that will assist us in determining the connectivity speeds across the city. Please note that these links go directly to surveymonkey.com, the responses are confidential, and the City will not see any individual information.

“Everyone’s input is valued and will help provide data to this important effort that is geared toward making Joplin a better place to live and work,” said Patty Heagel, Assistant Director of Planning, Development and Neighborhood Services.
