(Joplin, MO) – The Downtown Joplin Alliance (DJA) welcomes the community for July’s Third Thursday! Celebrate being part of Joplin, enjoy some live music and great food, and check out the vendors at Thursday’s event. Cool down with some live theatre and then wrap up the night with a show at Chaos Brewing Company or Blackthorn Pizza & Pub.
At Third Thursday, there’s something for everyone:
- Live music on the 609 Stage from Melody Pond
- Live music starting at 8:00 pm at Chaos Brewing (Kalo) and at Blackthorn (Big Smile)
- Free live theatre production from Dream Theatre at 124 S. Main Street
- Free pop-up COVID vaccine clinic in front of City Hall
- Over 20 food trucks
- Vintage car cruise on the 100 block
- Artisan market on the 500 block
- Bounce houses from Jungle Bounce LLC
Lori Haun, executive director of DJA, states, “This is a great month to bring the family out and let the kids enjoy the bounce houses, a family friendly live theatre production snow cones, and other activities put on by our vendors!”
