The Nanette Philibert Business of Art Symposium

Wednesday, November 4 | 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm | Free event

Participants will have the opportunity to hear from art professionals from the region as they discuss opportunities and challenges in their profession. Missouri Southern State University art students will also have an opportunity to participate in a separate breakout session.

This event is open to the public by virtual presentation via Zoom and is offered at no charge. Participants will receive a Zoom link the day before the event.

Balance Your Sheet

Most small business owners and manager focus on the company’s Profit and Loss Statement. However, just as important is the company’s Balance Sheet. This workshop will explain the importance of an accurate Balance Sheet and the types of financial information that can be found on the Balance Sheet. Two important financial monitoring tools taken from the Balance Sheet will also be presented and will help small business owners and managers monitor their company’s performance.
