Leadership Joplin 2020 is back in action with the City Tour! A huge thank you to the amazing local historian, Brad Belk. He presented the narrative to the locations we visited and offered a wealth of information while making it interesting! We started on foot with a walking tour of downtown historical sites, including the Fox Theater, Frisco Building, Newman Building, Scottish Rite Temple, and the historic Schifferdecker home. The bus picked us up and took us to the Joplin Museum Complex, Rader’s Farm, Mt. Hope Cemetery, the Bonnie and Clyde apartment, and Mother Nature’s Crack at Wildcat Glades. What a fun day!
