Small Business Development Center to Host Networking: Social Distance Style

(Joplin, MO) – The Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) hosted at Missouri Southern State University will be hosting an event to help others alter their approach to networking in the COVID-19 era. 

In this workshop, participants will learn how to appropriately network in today’s environment with social distancing. Topics to be covered include how to define your purpose in networking, how to be prepared, utilizing body language when speaking, exit strategies, owning your elevator pitch, and how to follow up after a networking event. Participants should have a better understanding on the do’s and don’ts of networking after completing this workshop.

The online, virtual course will be held on Tuesday, November 17 from 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm. Registered attendees will be sent a Zoom link to participate virtually. To register, click here.
