(Diamond, MO) – George Washington Carver National Monument is excited to invite the community for their annual Storytelling Day on Saturday, August 22 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm!
Celebrate the 110th anniversary of the National Park Service through storytelling as performers share compelling narratives of U.S. history and culture. Stop by and listen as dynamic storytellers share tales of diverse experiences and special places and spaces. Our history is part of who we were, who we are, and who we will be.
Performers include:
- 11:00 am – Cherry & Jerry, Missouri African American Composers
- 12:00 pm – Kavan Skull as Sergeant William Jasper, an American Revolutionary War Hero
This event is free and open to the public, so invite your friends, bring your family, and enjoy a trip into the past! Storytelling Day is cosponsored by the Carver Birthplace Association.
