(Joplin, MO) – The Joplin Public Library and Post Art Library are accepting applications to fill booths for their 10th Annual Joplin Writers’ Faire, scheduled for Saturday, October 3 from 10 am – 1 pm inside the Library.
Applications will be accepted online beginning August 1 and ending August 31. Applying is free and open to all writers and writers’ groups, including published and non-published, emerging and established, or writers working in any form/genre, and writing-adjacent groups/organizations. Successful applicants will be notified by email on Friday, September 11. They will receive a booth, at no cost to them, for the 2026 Joplin Writers’ Faire event. A library card is not necessary and applicants need not reside in Joplin.

Established in 2017, the Joplin Writers’ Faire aspires to connect all sorts of writers to their existing and potentially new audiences while encouraging community support of local and regional writers. The 2026 Joplin Writers’ Faire is a collaboration between Joplin Public Library, Friends of Joplin Public Library, and the Post Art Library.
