Get Your Kicks on Route 66 on July 18 with a Creative Night Out at Spiva Center for the Arts

Spiva Center for the Arts invites the community to Art Night Out on Saturday, July 18!

Begin your evening with a dinner at a downtown restaurant, add a stop to explore Route 66 public art, and then make your way to Spiva for a playful gallery experience, drop-in art project, dessert, and conversation. Come with a date, a friend, or anyone you enjoy spending time with. No art experience is needed; just bring your sense of adventure!

Start with Dinner

First, enjoy dinner at a fantastic downtown restaurant. Here are a few delicious suggestions:

Add a Route 66 Art Stop

Before heading to Spiva, add a creative stop at the World Street Painting Festival 3D Art at 1717 W. 7th Street, where you can see 16 different works of art.

There are also two additional locations to explore: one at the Harry M. Cornell Art & Entertainment Complex and one at Schifferdecker Park. You can learn more about all of the artwork and locations here.

Arrive at Spiva!

From 6:30 to 9:00 pm (open for flexible arrival!)

At Spiva, you can:

  • Explore the galleries
  • Make vintage motel-style keychains and collage postcards
  • Enjoy desserts and drinks
  • Use conversation cards to learn something new about your crafting companions
  • Socialize with other art-loving community members

Tickets for the event at Spiva are $20 per person and $35 per pair. Members of Spiva get a $5 discount; check your email for the discount code. You can purchase tickets or learn more here.

What Comes After Crafting?

Keep the night going! Royale Cinema Lounge offers great movies and drinks to extend the fun.
