The Independent Living Center in Joplin (TILC) has announced the second annual Smokin’ For Support: A TILC BBQ Bash, a community fundraiser supporting services that promote independence for individuals with disabilities. The event will take place on September 19 and feature great food and friendly competition, with proceeds directly supporting independent living programs, such as facility transitions and home modifications.
TILC is actively seeking event sponsors to help make this fundraiser a success. Sponsorship opportunities are available at three levels:

- Silver ($600), which includes Bronze benefits plus company logo placement on event banners; and
- Gold ($900), which includes Silver benefits plus priority logo placement on banners, featured spotlight in newsletter and dedicated social media post highlighting support.
In addition, TILC is also seeking barbecue competitors to participate in the event. Competitors will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete for prizes, including $1,000 for Judge’s Choice and two $400 prizes for People’s Choice.
