(Joplin, MO) – Sparklight is supporting shelter pets in Greater Joplin through “Connect for a Cause,” a community campaign that links new Sparklight Mobile activations to donations benefiting the Joplin Humane Society and the local pets in its care.
For every new Sparklight Mobile line activated in Joplin and Webb City from April 2 through April 30, Sparklight will donate $10 to the Joplin Humane Society, with a guaranteed minimum contribution of $1,500.

The Joplin Humane Society provides shelter, adoption, rescue and foster care programs for pets throughout Greater Joplin. Funds raised through the campaign will help provide food, medical care and safe shelter for pets awaiting adoption. Community members interested in welcoming a new pet into their home can view adoptable pets online or in person at the shelter (140 E. Emperor Lane in Joplin).
The Joplin Humane Society shared its appreciation for the partnership.

Connect for a Cause also introduces customers to Sparklight Mobile, a no-contract prepaid wireless service available exclusively to Sparklight internet customers. The service includes unlimited talk and text, nationwide coverage and straightforward pricing, with plans starting at $15 per month when bundled with Sparklight home internet service.
Launched in March, Sparklight Mobile is currently offering a limited-time promotion in which eligible new and existing customers can receive one unlimited mobile line at no cost for 12 months. After the promotional period, standard unlimited plan pricing applies. A one-time SIM activation fee and taxes may apply. Promotional line activations qualify toward the campaign’s shelter donations.
