(Joplin, MO) — Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO), the sole supplier of blood, platelets and plasma to patients at more than 40 hospitals across the region, is teaming up once again with four premier attractions to offer free admission for lifesaving donors and help boost the region’s blood supply this spring.
Throughout March and April, successful donors will receive an Ozarks Adventure Pass, a package of tear-away vouchers offering more than $195 in free admission to four family destinations:
- The Discovery Center – Springfield, MO ($34 value)
- The Scott Family Amazeum – Bentonville, AR ($48 value)
- Ripley’s Believe It or Not! – Branson, MO ($48 value)
- Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge – Eureka Springs, AR ($70 value)
“Every blood donation has the power to save up to three lives. Blood donors make a real and lasting difference for patients and families across the Ozarks,” said CBCO Media Relations Representative Michelle Teter. “The Ozarks Adventure Pass is our way of celebrating donors generosity while giving them the opportunity to create meaningful experiences with their own family and friends.”
Donors will also receive a limited-edition CBCO “Route 56” themed T-shirt. Donations can be made any mobile blood drive or one of four CBCO donor centers located in Joplin, Mo., Springfield, Mo., Springdale, Ark., or Bentonville, Ark.
