The Joplin History and Mineral Museum is excited to welcome the community to their Grand Re-Opening on Friday, February 6 at 11:00 am!
The Museum closed in January 2026 for renovations and updates to exhibits, including the completion of the 100th anniversary exhibit on Route 66. All these upgrades will be on display for the public during the event, which will feature:
- A ribbon cutting with the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce at 11:00 am.
- Free snacks and drinks.
- Tours of the upgraded exhibits.
