JATSO Policy Board Public Meeting

There will be a public meeting of the Joplin Area Transportation Study Organization (JATSO) Policy Board on Thursday, January 15th at 1:30 p.m. in the Joplin City Hall 5th Floor Study, 602 South Main Street, Joplin, Missouri.

The agenda includes the adoption of MoDOT Statewide Safety Targets, approval of FY2026-2029 TIP Amendment 2, approval of the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), approval of JATSO’s Letter of Support for a Statewide Active Transportation Plan, and discussion of a request to change JATSO’s TIP Amendment and Administrative Change definitions. The MoDOT Statewide Safety Targets are a list of performance measure targets reported in MoDOT’s 2025 Highway Safety Plan. The requested changes to the TIP Amendment and Administrative Change definitions would establish percentage change and/or dollar amount thresholds that would require a TIP Amendment. Changes below these established thresholds would only require an Administrative Change.
