Mutts Gone Nuts
Saturday, November 8 | 2:00 pm | Tickets: $5 for kids, $20 for adults | Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex
Expect the unexpected as canines and comedy collide in Mutts Gone Nuts, a family-friendly spectacle that’s leaving audiences howling for more. From incredible feats of agility to laugh-out-loud antics, this action-packed show celebrates the talents of some of the world’s most amazing four-legged performers. Each of the nine dogs in the cast was adopted from animal shelters or rescues and now delights audiences as they unleash havoc and hilarity on stage.
Comedy duo Scott and Joan Houghton, who created Mutts Gone Nuts, have been entertaining audiences worldwide since 1985 with their unique blend of physical comedy and circus arts. They spent three years touring with country star Lee Greenwood and seven years as the featured comedy act at Dolly Parton’s Theaters in Branson, Orlando, and Myrtle Beach. In 2005, they turned their focus to creating a comedy dog act, using all positive, reward-based training methods to cultivate each dog’s natural talents. Off stage, their canine companions live comfortably in climate-controlled environments while touring and enjoy plenty of room to run and play at home.
Deemed “a must-see” by The Washington Post, Mutts Gone Nuts is equal parts heartwarming and hilarious, proving that with a little love and patience, rescue dogs can do extraordinary things.
This performance is part of the Ignite Series, which is made possible by Debra & David Humphreys. Learn more and purchase your tickets here.
