Jasper County Commissioners, officials, and representatives invite the community to join them on October 9, 2025, at 10:00 am to rededicate the Jasper County Courthouse.
Originally built in 1895, the courthouse is built of Carthage marble after the original courthouse was burned down during the American Civil War. The public is invited to join the rededication ceremony as special guest, Brad Belk, Jasper County Historian, speaks about the history of the building.
Those interested in attending the ceremony should meet on the south side of the courthouse on the lawn at 10:00 am sharp.
