Joplin, Missouri – July 29, 2025 – Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO), the exclusive provider of blood, platelets, and plasma to patients at over 40 healthcare facilities, is inviting donors to get cozy and give back during the Christmas in July blood drive. The special one-day event will take place on Thursday, July 31 at all four CBCO donor centers in Joplin, Springfield, Bentonville, and Springdale.

Springfield – Thomson Donor Center, 220 W. Plainview Rd. 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Bentonville – Bentonville Donor Center, 1400 SE Walton Blvd. 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Springdale – Springdale Donor Center, 3503 S. Thompson St. 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
“CBCO is bringing a little holiday cheer to the middle of summer with our Christmas in July blood drive,” said Kenda Burnham, Senior Director of Donor Recruitment for CBCO. “It is a fun way to celebrate the spirit of giving while helping patients in need. Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is currently low on O Positive, O Negative and A Negative blood types and is urging all who are eligible, to schedule a donation to help boost the supply level.
