(Joplin, MO) – Downtown Joplin Alliance (DJA) will hold their next quarterly Downtown Now event on Wednesday, July 9 at 5:00 pm, sponsored by ALLO Fiber.
Downtown Now is for downtown business owners, residents, or just lovers of downtown to connect and to learn more about what’s happening in the district.
This session and all upcoming 2025 Downtown Now presentations will be held at The Main Event, located at 611 S. Main Street.
In July, Andy Griffith of SOLO LINK IO will present on “Main Street vs. Wall Street: Who Wins in the Age of AI? Six Tools to Help Small Businesses Compete, Thrive, and Out-Innovate the Giants.”
Guests will also have a chance to hear from Qwyntnn Brown, ALLO Fiber’s Community Engagement Manager, who will give an overview on what fiber internet is and all the exciting ways it can benefit you and your small business.
Doors open at 5:00 pm for networking and light snacks with the main presentation starting around 5:30 pm. A variety of drinks, including handcrafted cocktails, can be purchased at The Main Event bar.
Enjoy light snacks and beverages while you mingle with other downtown business operators, residents, and downtown supporters. It’s also the perfect opportunity to find out what’s coming up on the DJA calendar and how you can get involved in the organization!
This event takes place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at The Main Event (611 S Main Street). Downtown Now is free and open to the public — no RSVP required.
