(Neosho, MO) – Crowder College athletic department in conjunction with the National Junior College Athletic Association has recognized teams for their accomplishments on the field or court as well as in the classroom. Crowder College Roughriders had their share of accomplished student athletes with six teams being recognized NJCAA Academic teams. These teams boasted a grade point average above 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Roughrider teams for 2024-25 include:
- Softball — 3.42 GPA
- Baseball — 3.37 GPA
- Basketball — 3.36 GPA
- eSports — 3.27 GPA
- Golf (men’s) — 3.19 GPA
- Golf (women’s) — 3.12 GPA
“I’m incredibly proud of our Roughrider student-athletes for the dedication they’ve shown in the classroom,” stated Brandi Arthur, Athletic Director. ” Their academic success is a direct result of their hard work, the consistent encouragement from our coaching staff, and the unwavering support of our faculty and college staff. This academic accomplishment is certainly a true team effort.”
The individual Academic All-American student-athletes will be posted in July 2025. The college will release this list once available.
