General Mills Releases 2025 Global Responsibility Report

General Mills recently released its 2025 Global Responsibility Report, detailing progress across three priority areas — Food, Planet, and People — during their 2024 fiscal year, which ended on May 26, 2024. The report marks the 55th year of General Mills reporting on its environmental and social impact and underscores how General Mills is Standing for Good.

General Mills’ Food

With more than 100 brands across the globe, General Mills food products provide families with variety, nutrient density, affordability, and accessibility across their portfolio. They are the leading provider of whole grains to Americans, and aligned their K–12 school foods with USDA standards ahead of deadlines.

Standing for the Planet

As a global food company, General Mills depends on the health and well-being of the planet. Their mission is to support thriving farmers and local communities, and they’re on their way to 100% recyclable or reusable packaging, achieving 93% last year.

Standing for People

General Mills continues to put people first, beginning with its employees and extending across global operations. A great example is their Box Tops for Education program, one of the longest-running school fundraising programs in the nation, which has helped schools earn nearly $1 billion to date.

For nearly 160 years, General Mills has been making food the world loves and doing good. This means providing accessible and affordable nutrition, working towards a healthier planet for all, and making an impact in the communities where General Mills lives, works, and operates.
