A Closer Look at the JLT 2025 Season

Grease

September 24–27 at 7:30 pm | September 28 @ 2:30 pm | Directed by Marilyn Bouldin | Rated PG-13

Grease is the word! Welcome back to Rydell High’s Class of 1959! The duck-tailed, hot-rodding “Burger Palace Boys” and their gum-smacking, hip-shaking “Pink Ladies” are back. Nothing beats the look and sound of the 1950s in this thrilling musical. Join Danny, Sandy, Rizzo, Kenickie, and the gang for a celebration of friendship, fun, and maybe a little romance. Relive those sweet “Summer Nights,” the electrifying “Greased Lightning,” and see how well “We Go Together.” Join the fun and wear your best 50s costume for the Photo-Op Spot!

The Crucible

November 13–15 @ 7:30 pm | November 16 @ 2:30 pm | Directed by Shelly Dunn | Rated PG-13

The Crucible, a play by Arthur Miller, explores the Salem Witch Trials of 1692 where a group of girls, led by Abigail Williams, falsely accuse others of witchcraft to cover their own actions. This leads to mass hysteria and executions in a timeless story about the impact of lies, deceit, and grasping for power.

Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean

January 8–10 at 7:30 pm | January 11 @ 2:30 pm | Directed by Preston Hamilton | Rated PG-13

In a small-town dime store in West Texas, the Disciples of James Dean reunite 20 years after Dean filmed Giant in nearby Marfa. Now middle-aged, they recall their teenage years — one claims she conceived a child with Dean during the shoot. Their warm memories mix with flashbacks, until a striking, familiar stranger arrives, sparking confrontations that shatter illusions and reveal long-held disappointments.

Alice @ Wonderland

March 12–14 at 7:30 pm | March 15 @ 2:30 pm | Directed by Bethany Newsom | Appropriate for all ages

What would happen if a 21st century Alice collided with Lewis Carroll’s legendary Wonderland? This modern retelling of the classic children’s story has all the characters you know and love, including the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, and the Queen of Hearts. The story is laid out in traditional style, except that Alice is distinctly contemporary, complete with cell phone in hand.

Clark Gable Slept Here

May 14–16 at 7:30 pm | May 17 @ 2:30 pm | Directed by Hope Bethel | Rated R

Hollywood’s hiding a lot more in the closet than Tom Ford Tuxedos, and megastar agent Jarrod Hilliard’s determined to keep it that way. When the corpse of a male prostitute is found in his client’s hotel room during the Golden Globe Awards, Hilliard and hotel manager Gage Holland are left to sweep things under the rug. But when you work in the make-believe world of movies, everyone’s acting, which means that nothing is what it seems in this jet-black comedy about what it means to be a “man” in Hollywood.
