(Joplin, MO) – With less than 40 bricks remaining, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States is sunsetting their Legacy Brick program. Businesses and individuals are encouraged to buy a customized brick for $100 to leave a lasting testament of support in the back patio of Ronald McDonald House. Legacy Bricks can be purchased in-person, over the phone, or online, here.
“When the Joplin Ronald McDonald House was built, our community paved the way by funding construction with the purchase of commemorative bricks,” said Lori Jones, executive director of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States. “Our sidewalks and patio still showcase the support. As we celebrate 50 years of our global charity providing a community of care, we are excited to finish the patio garden with your help. Reserve an inscribed brick today to honor a loved one and support our mission.”

About Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States:
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States has served our communities since 1996 through its mission, which is to create, find, and support programs that directly support the health and well-being of children and their families. That mission is executed through its cornerstone program, Ronald McDonald House, and the Ronald McDonald Family Room, located at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Our House provides temporary lodging for families of seriously ill children (ages 0-21) and ill expectant mothers, while our Family Room serves as a small oasis for families of pediatric patients just steps away from their child’s hospital room. For the more than 200 families that Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States serves annually, we give a family with a sick child what they need most – each other.
