City of Joplin Begins Clearing Along Shoal Creek to Prepare for Sanitary Sewer Work in Area

Brush and vegetation will be cleared along Shoal Creek near Glendale Road in south Joplin. The clearing work is being done within the sanitary sewer easement in preparation for constructing a new sanitary sewer pressure main. Rosetta Construction, LLC, the contractor for this project will perform the work.

The City of Joplin urges motorists to use caution in the area, as heavy equipment and trucks will enter Glendale Road approximately two-thirds of a mile west of Jackson Ave. Work is to be completed by October 12.
