(Springfield, MO) – Guaranty Bank announces the retirement of Fred Osborn after forty years of dedicated service in the financial services industry. Under his leadership, the region experienced significant expansion, changes, and advancements.
Fred joined Guaranty Bank in 2019 and was named the Senior Vice President Commercial Banking Manager for Guaranty’s Joplin, Missouri region in 2022.
“We have been fortunate to have someone with Fred’s significant banking background, community relationships, and civic commitment lead our Joplin team,” said Becky Scorse, EVP Chief Lending Officer.
Over the years, Fred has served on several local boards and associations, including the Joplin Sales Tax Oversight Committee, the Joplin Airport Board, the Carl Junction Schools Foundation, the Joplin Rotary Club, the Joplin Rotary Community Foundation, the Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity, and the Community Clinic of Southwest Missouri.
As Fred embarks on retirement, Guaranty Bank salutes him for a prosperous career and thanks him for his contributions to our organization. He has left an indelible mark on the bank that will endure for years. They welcome the community to celebrate his accomplishments on Friday, July 12, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at their McClelland branch, 3016 McClelland Blvd, Joplin, MO 64804.
